    About Todd
Coach Todd Hoffmeier
Todd Hoffmeier is the Head Coach for Palma Ceia Country Club Swim Team. He has coached with PCCC since 1995. Todd also coaches the South Tampa Aquatic Team (STAT) a year round competitive swim team, which has sent several swimmers to the Florida Junior Olympics.

Originally from Arizona, Todd was a state champion in the 200 IM and runner-up in the 100 fly. He came to Tampa on a University of Tampa Swimming Scholarship where he swam for three years, graduating in 3 ½ with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. After Coach Mike Laughrey’s retirement in 1998, Todd was promoted to Head Coach of PCCC. He works with all ages of swimmers from toddlers to teenagers, teaching proper technique and a love of the sport. He enjoys helping all swimmers reach their highest potential.

Todd resides in Tampa with his wife Tammy and their three children Jett (6), Jade (3), and JT (newborn). He currently teaches Physical Education at St. John’s Episcopal School.


Coach Alison
Alison Alfonso has been coaching on the PCCC since 1999. A Tampa native and an avid swimmer, Coach Alison attended The University of Florida and University of South Florida and holds her Bachelor of Science in Education. She swam for PCCC from 1983 to 1996 where she excelled in breaststroke, butterfly and IM. Alison does a great job with all age groups, but is especially effective with the team’s younger swimmers. She has been doing swim lessons in our program since 1995. She loves to work with children.


Coach Keely
Keely Douglas returns for her 2nd season with our swim school. She attended FSU for college, majoring in English and Philosophy. She works with beginner and intermediate level swimmers teaching strokes, diving, technique and much more. She was a former USS competitive swimmer in the Tampa area with GTSA and Plant High School Team. Since then she has worked as a lifeguard at FSU's Rez (a lake) and is our head lifegaurd at Palma Ceia Country Club. She is currently attending graduate school.


Coach Charsley
Charlsey Reynolds just graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor science in Psychology and a minor in Education. She swam all four years on the varsity swim team at H.B. Plant High and has enjoyed the sport since she was young. She is currently in graduate school at The University of Tampa. This will be her first year teaching swim lessons with our swim school and we are very excited to have her on board. She is currently an assitant coach on STAT and PCCC.


Coach Blaine
Blaine Bess just finished his collegiate swimming career at the University of Tampa and is now swimming on the master's team. He is graduating from the University of Tampa in May with a degree in Secondary Education. This will be Blaine's 3rd year with our swim school. He works with the intermediate groups teaching strokes, diving, technique and much more!


Coach Keelee
Keelee Wrenn will be working with all levels of swimmers. She swam at Seton Hall University and has a strong background in teaching swim lessons from babies to swim team level. She has taught swim lessons since 1999 which has involved private, group, stroke technique, etc. She has swam competitively for 19 years. She is going to the University of Tampa this fall to work on her Master's Degree in Business.


Coach Dani
Dani Heaton will be working with the intermediate swimmers. Dani was born in Texas where she swam competitively in high school and for the Donner Swim Club. After graduating she then went on to swim at the University of Kansas. She then moved to Iowa where she was an assistant coach for the Rock Island Orcas for 2 years. Dani has a great enthusiasm for the sport of swimming.
